Day out with a difference

It's the Sock's birthday next week and because the Bedsock is invariably away on the day he has organised something for tomorrow. The calendar has had "busy" written on May 2nd for some months but the Sock has only just found out what she is going to be "busy" doing!!!

When the Sock first started trying to guess what "busy" might mean she was informed that it wasn't what she expected - therefore not a meal out somewhere posh and not a day at a health farm. Now the Sock knows she can definitely say that she would never in a million years have guessed what it is!

It isn't whale watching - the Sock just thought it was a good opportunity to post a piccie from our whale watching trip in Oz where a young calf spend a good half hour breaching and tail slapping very near to our boat.

Sadly it isn't a day out with Chris Beardshaw either.

Can you guess what it is yet?

A day in with Chris Beardshaw?

No. :(

To tell you the truth the Bedsock isn't that keen on Chris Beardshaw.. I can't think why.. he has always been more of a Monty Don man, very odd!

I think Chris would enjoy what we are doing because it is to do with nature.

From your written post it has to be a day out with Rolf Harris.

OR if it's to do with your piccie, it's a trip to Seaworld or whatever those places are called.

PS Whatever it is, have a fab time and happy birthday!

THank you VP my birthday isn't until midweek and I will be drinking champagne on my own but in an exciting and mysterious location.

Now, it is not Rolf Harris although I do know the words to the 'Court of King Caractacus'.

It isn't Seaworld. I have been in Brighton for many years and managed to avoid going .

It is a day's course and involves sheep, flowers, trees, birds, weather...... and it is not photography and there is no chocolate :( :(

Is it a sheep arranging, flower shearing, tree watching, bird pollarding course in the rain ....with Christopher Biggins?

Or is it something that you are not so keen on?

Ooooh Emma... Very very close... but WRONG! LOL! I hope I'm going to enjoy this - I have to get up early tomorrow!

Wind as well?

Okay...so as well as the delectable Christopher Biggins.....

The late (usually by 12 minutes) great Matthew Wilson is coming wearing his cowboy hat (let's be honest he just loves it) for an USA stylee chili fest on the South Downs? It'll blow your mind!

Or is there no food involved?

In which case, it might be a very short appearance by both Messrs Biggins & Wilson :-)

I hope you enjoy your birthday "treat" Annabella and that you have the decency not to tell us all about it.

But please expand on the stuff you've told us so far.

BFN
