The Drowning Pool

After the excitement of Malvern and prior to the celebration of Chelsea we need to get back to our roots and our favourite TV Gardening show. Viewers have been deeply concerned about the safety of Toby's pond - the H and S dogs are looking in to it but in the meantime here is the first in an occasional series of pond life

Poor Hyppos, before you know it Toby will be tickling them as he does with everything. Please call the RSPCA instanter!

BTW Wish he would tickle a barracuda. ;-)

Tee hee - I know where you got those Hippos from - Helen was trying to persuade me I need a giraffe in the garden!

That's really funny - my first visit to your blog ( via VP, Monkey and Lia Leendertz' recommendation). I'll def be back!

Welcome to the madness Scattered Gardener

The Drowning Pool is not as yet one of my better series but it could be a slow burner.

Ha ha! I wondered if anyone would recognise the hippos! I thought they were rather gorgeous - I can just see a giraffe draped with clematis.

I'm a great fan of Hippos in ponds - I've got one in mine.
I wish everyone involved with GW would tickle a barracuda :-)

So that's where they keep the BBC hippos when they are not dancing before tv programmes! It all makes sense now!
