Product Placement

Now that the commercial channels are allowing product placement in their programmes the Sock believes that this could be the way forward for Gardeners' World. Surely it is only a matter of time before this happens... Warning this movie contains subliminal advertising..

Sporfle!

If CB was really sponsored by Growmore I think they may need to re-think the formulation of the product ...

I'm glad to see the dearth of gardening programmes has done little to dim your creativity :)

The dearth of gardening programmes is a problem. :( What I really need to work with is a programme led by two handsome men and Joe.

YAN you have given me an idea for an 'unmentionable word' gift. A "Grow your Own Chris Beardshaw" kit. What fun - you could give one to all your friends and see who could grow the tallest one!

Have you been watching the series on Bodnant BTW?

It's probably too 'good' a programme though to give you much in the way of material for your blog?

But with a head gardener with such an epic name there has to be a story in there somewhere?

I'm eagerly awaiting the next bit of sock mastery. Brilliant as always Arabella!

I always had Alys down as the drunken one on GW, probably slurping Special brew between takes.

The dearth of gardening programmes on telly is a problem in my country too; we haven't got any. :-( So I have to make do with watching GW if I have the stomach for it, which isn't often nowadays as I find it too dull for words.

But, dear Sock, this little post of yours made all the suffering GW wise more than worth it. It (your post not GW) is bloody brill! And wickedly funny!

BTW Am I the only one who's never had any trouble with putting an Ikea flatpack together and end up with something that is actually useful?

Brilliant as ever Ms Sock. Any chance of slowing it down a tad? I can't read the in between bits quickly enough.

WV is surgeri!

Tee hee Pork Chop - that is because they are subliminal!

Actually if you watch the gif at a time when the internet is running slow you will be able to read them fully. This change in speeds is very annoying because I watched one of my gifs where Toby crashes the Diggit Van into a wall and the internet imposed slow-motion totally ruins my gory ending! :(
