Return of the Baggywag

Hurrah! His Organic Jerkinness Lord Monty Don will be returning to our screens next year in a new Channel 4 series called 'My Dream Farm' about people trying to set up their own rural smallholding. The show is about people who give up high-powered jobs to live the rural dream in "an exciting project that encapsulates the nation’s interest in issues such as self sufficiency, the origins of our food and the achievability of a lifestyle choice that nurtures the soul as well as the bank balance." This promises to be nearly as good as the Sissinghurst Saga.

Unfortunately it won't be screened until Spring next year when we will also have the 'Matthew Wilson Diaries' aka Landscape Man to view. This is a long time for the Sock to have to wait for inspiration for her bloggywog. What is to be done in the meantime now they have rendered Gardeners' World so unwatchable that nobody even squabbles about it on the Beeb messageboards? The only solution is to get rid of the entire presentation and production team of GW and start again with Chris Beardshaw in charge! The Sock was right all along - if only they had listened!

I was hoping for Bodnant Bitching but they all get on far too well.

I suggest that GW with Crass Bedsore would just be too nice & all you would do is sit & drool having lost the use of your normally well honed critical faculties.

Ms B! You have a new picture - you can't just do that! What happened to the fascinator?

I am trying attract a younger funkier audience Ms Sock, so I have given the fascinator another role, out of the limelight (so yesterday you know)! Have I done wrong do you think? Will you present a petition of 1 to bring back the fascinator?

To be honest I think that hat thing looks a bit Clockwork Orange - so thirtyeight years ago. Haven't you got a picture of a lazy trollop you could use? I'll see if I can find one for you.

Thankyou, Arabella.
My loved one back in any shape of form is something to look forward to!
(Mrs B - you look lovely in anything you wear, naturally.)
I don't suppose Monty will have his baggywag with him, though - that's a shame.
It added a certain cachet I thought....

Monty Don without the Baggywag is like a cheese sandwich without the Branston pickle! If we don't get the Baggywag there is no point him being on at all!

Ms. B. I googled images of a lazy trollop and the first things that came up were a load of cupcakes and someone denying they were a lazy trollop at all!

What's the betting that when the Matthew Wilson/Monty Wonty programmes are aired, it will be at the same time, so we will have to choose between them?
