As a public service the Sock has pared down everything you need to know about Monty Don's 'Great Italian Gardens' into one short film. So now you don't have to watch it all. Speakers on everybody!

Miss Sock, you have surpassed yourself! Excellent. This has put a smile on my face this morning! Thank you!
I can't think of enough superlatives. Suffice to say, it's made me feel better than I've felt for days. (PS: My son has just come in to see what I'm cackling at.)
very clever - I dont know where you find the energy to do all that clever editing. Your talents are wasted
Hilarious!
Brilliant! What a hoot!!
Brilliant :)
Huzzah!
Yet again, The Sock does it so you don't have to. You are a public service. And it as very funny!
I did actually watch the programme, I have been to several of the gardens he visited, so I thought it would be fun, but unaccountably I fell asleep and missed most of it.
Thank you for all your comments on this. It was great fun to do and reminded me how extraordinarily wonderful the golden tones of Dean Martin are.
Yan - I did enjoy the first programme although it was more about architecture than plants. Made me want to go and visit some of the gardens though!
Dear Sock,
Thank you for putting my mind at rest. I've been having sleepless nights for months wondering whatever happened to the manly baggywag. Now I know, which is such a relief.
Watched the show last night (taped it) and burst out laughing coz the first thing I saw was the baggywag, manly and all.
Been to Tuscany a few years ago on a garden visiting spree. It was fab so garden visiting in Italy is heartily recommended. Especially if I can come too. ;-)
Goodness, I have missed so much in my busy-ness. Has Monty's show been on TV yet? Does it mention the 'bye bye twitter' episode?
Arabella Sock - you are my heroine!
Monty Don is a genius gardener. I like the way he loves the hedges because they are a structural form all their own.
